Today marks one month since I've had no Tegretol in my system and have only been on Lamictal. Even though I've now started the XR, it's still the same ingredients and it's nice to know that it works just as well as the Tegretol did for me.

ReplyDeletewhen you swapped from the tegratol did you have to do it slowly and did you have alot of fits whilst changeing tabs?
ReplyDeleteI titrated the Tegretol down 200mgs at a time. Before I did that I titrated lamictal up 50mg a week at a time over 6 weeks. I titrated the Tegretol down over 4 weeks. I have not had any seizures since 1992, medication switch, included.
